The
TI Program is our source for dancers who see dance in their future as more
than a recreational activity. The TI Program provides intensive
instruction in ballet, jazz and tap. Dancers auditioned for the 2011 –
2012 TI Program in May of 2011. They attend dance conventions
and competitions throughout the country all season long where they continue to win scholarships and
national titles. Last season dancers attended New York City Dance Alliance
in several cities across the country, Showbiz in Minneapolis, Dance
Excellence 2011 in Los
Angeles and New York City Dance Alliance Nationals in NYC.
Dancers from Young Dance
have competed regionally and nationally in an extremely successful
competitive program since 1991. Our competitive dancers are selected
from our Technique Intensive (TI) Program which evolved from our competitive
program 8 years ago.

Congratulations to all of the dancers who attended the
NYCDA regional convention in Chicago, IL in February 2011! Everyone worked
hard and a great time in convention classes and at the competition.
